Privacy & data notice
Plain-language summary of what happens to anything you send us through this site.
What we collect
When you subscribe we store the first name and email address you enter, the optional nomination text, the page the form was submitted from, and the date. We do not collect payment details, and we do not use tracking pixels in our emails.
Why we keep it
Your email is used only to send show updates, new-episode notices, and live-taping invites. Nomination text is read by the booking team to decide who to invite onto the show. We rely on your explicit consent, given by ticking the box on the form.
Who can see it
Submissions are stored in our own backend and are not readable by site visitors. Access is limited to the show team. We never sell, rent, or trade your information, and we share it with third parties only where an email delivery provider is strictly needed to send the newsletter.
How long we keep it
Subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion. Nomination text is kept for one season after submission and then removed.
Your rights
You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased, by emailing privacy@pokertalkpodcast.com. We respond within 30 days.
Cookies
The website itself sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Embedded players from Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or YouTube may set their own cookies once you press play; those are governed by each platform's policy.
